The Joe Gibbs Racing driver along with Martin Truex Jr. and Kyle Busch have formed a triumvirate that has finally shown dominance again much like earlier in the season. Hamlin has a shot this week and a better one than Kevin Harvick.

Give Martin Truex Jr. credit, he could have hung his head further but has battled the past few weeks and is close to having a winning car again. It is part of the reason along with his ability at mile-long tracks that make him a co-favorite or near-favorite on Sunday. Starting second could be a real springboard if the No. 19 car does not make mistakes like at Dover. Truex Jr. typically learns his lessons pretty quickly.

Is Kyle Busch the Next Kyle Larson?

The driver of the No. 18 has been rather good at being in a position to win on mile-long tracks and lately has put together a nice streak. The younger Busch rose from tenth to third in the points race. He has four consecutive top-three results and six top-five finishes in his previous seven races.

Oh, it does not hurt that Kyle Busch has two wins on intermediate tracks since 2018 and has the pole on Sunday. At the very least, he should lead a decent amount of laps. He racked up 91 last Sunday in Atlanta.

While some will debate that there are better candidates out there to do well, there is a reason why drivers like Martin Truex Jr. and Christopher Bell could do well here. Bell has consecutive top-ten finishes and likely could net number three this week. The setup this week favors Joe Gibbs Racing a little. However, one has to consider Kevin Harvick for another top ten.
