Las Vegas Raiders Betting Trends
After one of the most astonishing walk-off victories in NFL history, the Las Vegas Raiders will need to regroup for a trip to Pittsburgh. At 6-8, the Raiders will assuredly need to win out to have any hope of making the playoffs.
Quarterback Derek Carr once again leads the Raiders offense with 3,348 passing yards and 23 touchdowns. The surprise of the season is running back Josh Jacobs. Reborn under head coach Josh McDaniels, Jacobs has run for 1,495 yards and 11 touchdowns while looking like one of the best backs in the NFL.

All-world wide receiver Davante Adams leads the Raiders with 86 catches for 1275 yards and 12 touchdowns.
On the defensive side, the Raiders defense has largely underperformed this season. Maxx Crosby leads the team with 11.5 sacks while the Raiders rank just 24th in total defense, and 23rd in opponents’ points per game.
Alarmingly, the Raiders have covered just three of their last 17 road games against a team with a losing home record. Although, Las Vegas is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 matchups in Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh Steelers Betting Trends
The Pittsburgh Steelers will be mourning the loss of Hall-of-Famer Franco Harris this week. The centerpiece of the Immaculate Reception, Harris ran for over 12,000 yards and won four Super Bowls with the Steelers in the 1970s. Pittsburgh is scheduled to retire his no.32 jersey at halftime against the Raiders.
Mike Tomlin’s charges will seek to capitalize on last week’s 24-16 victory over the Carolina Panthers. Kenny Pickett will return after sitting out last week’s victory with a concussion.

Pittsburgh’s defense has remained stout against the run, ranking sixth in opponents yards per rush, while allowing 22.1 points per game.
The Steelers have been excellent against bad teams lately, covering the spread in all four of their games against teams with a losing record.

Raiders vs Steelers Prediction
While the Raiders’ offense is an explosive unit, Pittsburgh’s defense has been solid as of late. The Steelers have allowed just 147.3 passing yards per game over their past three contests.
That being said, their opponents in those three weeks were the Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens minus-Lamar Jackson, and the Sam Darnold-led Carolina Panthers. Those performances don’t exactly inspire confidence.
The trio of Carr, Jacobs and Adams are more than capable of putting up enough points to beat the Steelers.
