It’s win or go home for the Boston Celtics and Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night. Both teams are on the road facing 3-2 deficits, and Ja Morant remains out for the Grizz.
Boston is a 1.5-point underdog in Milwaukee following the Bucks’ stunning comeback win a couple of days ago. There’s uncertainty over the availability of Robert Williams as he deals with knee soreness.
Despite being blown out on Wednesday, Golden State is favored by 8.5 for Game 6.

With the Warriors right at the top of NBA Championship odds alongside the Phoenix Suns, Steph Curry is the Finals MVP favorite, but he’s only got the third-highest points line on Friday night behind Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jayson Tatum.
Jrue Keeps Shooting
Jrue Holiday hasn’t been particularly efficient in the postseason. His offensive workload is enormous, however, which has forced him into the mid-twenties in points in three of five games in this series. Holiday’s defense caught the headlines in Game 5, but it was also a fifth-straight game with 20 or more field goal attempts, seven of which were from beyond the arc.

Against an elite Boston defense, it has been hard going for the former Pelican at times. Yet, with Khris Middleton still out, there is not much of an alternative other than for Holiday to take 20+ shots each night. Milwaukee needs Holiday to create his own shot to allow occasional rest for Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Sheer volume makes Holiday a solid bet to hit his points over. The -122 price is on the short side, though, so it’s worth parlaying his threes over, too. In his three games where he’s cashed this points over against Boston, he’s also made three or more outside shots. That trend continues back to his 26-point outing in the first round.

Curry Leads the Dubs to Game 6 Win
Steph Curry has scored over 27.5 points in four of his five home games this postseason. He’s drained over 3.5 threes in three of those, and has reached double figures in three-point attempts whenever he’s played over 35 minutes.

The two-time MVP went off for 30 in the Dubs’ Game 5 clincher against the Nuggets in the first round. While the Warriors’ effort was poor in Game 5 of this series, we can expect a rejuvenated performance in front of an expectant crowd at Chase Center. Look for Curry to lead the charge and attack from first tip – he scored 37 to seal the series against Portland in 2019, following a 33-point masterpiece against Houston to win Game 6.
Golden State’s shooting has been streaky (and that’s putting it kindly) in this series. Klay Thompson is below 30% from downtown and Curry is in the low-thirties. Still, their Shot Quality numbers show they have been getting a lot of good looks and missing them. They might not quite repeat the Game 3 scoring explosion, but they are due to hit some shots.

We like the plus odds on Curry to score 28 or more and make four or more threes. He might be in a bit of a shooting slump, but he’s not going to stop taking them, and it would be no surprise if got red-hot on Friday night.
