Tonight is the night ANTM fans have been waiting for. Tyra and company return for the premiere of cycle 22 (8:00 PM on The CW). This season will, once again, feature both guys and girls (seven of each).
We don’t know anything about the contestants’ modelling bona fides yet, but we do know what they look like and their stats, which are …
Guys:
- Age: 26
- Height: 5 ft 9 in
- City: Los Angeles, California

Before making our very early predictions for the show, a couple things stand out about the cast.
First, the girls are short. Only Delanie cracks the 5’9 barrier. To find the last winner who was under 5’9, you have to go all the way back to Cycle 13 when Nicole Fox took top honors.
Second, the guys are freaking hot. This might seem like a stupid thing to say, given that ANTM is a modelling competition which always exclusively features hot people. But good lord, those are some dreamboats.
With those two things in mind, this season looks primed to see another male winner, following on the heels of the terrifically-named Keith Carlos from Cycle 21.
Carlos was a traditionally handsome, Abercrombie-esque, Tyson Beckford-look-alike. Given that the judges are the same for Cycle 22 (Tyra, Kelly Cutrone, and J. Alexander), the early favorite is going to be similarly built.
Who among that crop of seven stunning specimens best fits the bill?
We have to give the early nod to youngster Dustin McNeer. It seems physically impossible to be this hot at 18. I know scienticians say that the male sex drive peaks around 18, so it makes some sense that guys would reach peak hotness at that age. But let’s be honest, most don’t. His classmates are probably still battling breakouts. Yet, there’s Dustin, being all, “You should mate with me because my soaring testosterone levels have given me abs of steel and deltoids of adamantium.”
The one thing that may work against Dustin is experience. So check back in the coming weeks when we get a better feel for all the contestants and potentially reassess our early prognostication.
