Georgia remains the odds-on favorite to win the CFP national championship at -130. While Michigan remains second in the updated CFP national championship odds at +280. TCU is the longshot to win the CFP national championship at +1600.

Georgia Remains atop CFP National Championship odds

Kirby Smart’s Georgia Bulldogs locked up the #1 spot in the College Football Playoff with a 50-30 blowout of the LSU Tigers in the SEC Championship game.

Quarterback Stetson Bennett was his usual efficient self in what was a defacto home game for the Bulldogs at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Bennett threw for 274 yards and 4 touchdowns in the victory.

The possible Heisman-trophy finalist embodies the epitome of this Georgia team: professional, and consistent, while not overly spectacular but yet outstanding. With the Bulldogs playing like this, it’s difficult to envision any team defeating them in the College Football Playoff.
