UNC quarterback Drake Maye has the highest passing yardage prop total this week at 297.5 for his team’s ACC Championship game versus Clemson. While TCU quarterback Max Duggan’s passing yardage total sits at 249.5 in the Big 12 Title game.

Quentin Johnston Receiving Yards

If you’ve read this column all year, you know we love to fade star receivers from big-time programs.

Although he will undoubtedly be the best player on the field on Saturday, we love the under on Quentin Johnston receiving yards. Johnston has not hit 76 receiving yards since an eight-catch, 180-yard explosion versus Oklahoma State way back on October 15th.

Moreover, Johnston has been hampered by an ankle injury for the past few weeks and remains questionable to play in Saturday’s Big 12 Championship Game. If he does play, Johnston will be limited. Additionally, head coach Sonny Dykes is unlikely to risk the health of his best player unless desperation sets in. The surefire future first-round NFL draft pick is unlikely to play enough snaps to rack up over 77.5 receiving yards. Bet the under.

Pick: Quentin Johnston UNDER 77.5 receiving yards (-120)

Tyjae Spears Rushing Touchdowns

Tulane running back Tyjae Spears has been on a tear this season.

The Green Wave back has posted 1,177 yards with 14 touchdowns on an astounding 6.2 yards per carry so far in 2022.

The electric junior rushed for 130 yards against the UCF defense in their first meeting on October 12th. Incredibly, Spears received only eight carries that day in 38-31 loss. Tulane’s coaching staff will look to make amends on Saturday. Spears will have every opportunity to score this week, as Tulane as relied on their star player when the going gets tough. After all, Spears had 35 carries for 181 yards in a must-win game against Cincinnati just last week. Look for him to get a similar number in what should be a tight contest against UCF.

Watch the above clip, and then tell me Spears won’t score at least one touchdown in the AAC Championship game.

Pick: Tyjae Spears over 0.5 rushing touchdowns (-195)
