Wisconsin Betting Outlook
Like Dayton, Wisconsin is strong defensively and that helped lift the Badgers over Green Bay. The Phoenix shot just 34.1% (15 of 44) overall and 14.3% (2 of 14) from distance.
Wisconsin is allowing opponents to shoot a measly 11.1% from beyond the arc, tops in the nation, and is sixth in scoring defense at 51.3.
That kind of effort was needed against Green Bay. Wisconsin shot just 30.2% (16 of 53) and its top two scorers, senior forward Tyler Wahl and sophomore guard Chucky Hepburn, were a combined 4 for 25.
Junior guard Jordan Davis was the only Wisconsin player to score in double figures with 11 points. Wahl and junior forward Steven Crowl added nine apiece.
Davis also helped the defensive effort.

Wahl leads the Badgers by averaging 14.7 points and 8.0 assists. Hepburn has averages of 11.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists.

The teams last played during the 1961-62 season with Wisconsin outscoring Dayton 105-93. Look for this matchup to be much more defense-oriented and Dayton to prevail with their more diversified offense.
