As predictably as the moon shifts the tides, the betting public has wagered millions of dollars on Super Bowl 2025 on gameday. The massive influx of Super Bowl betting handle has led to significant Chiefs/Eagles odds movement in the hours leading up to kickoff (6:30 pm ET). Roughly 60 minutes until the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles tangle at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, here is where the Super Bowl 2025 odds sit.
Closing Super Bowl 2025 Odds: Chiefs vs Eagles
It hasn’t been without feints in various directions, but the 2025 Super Bowl odds have settled in almost the exact same place they started.

Super Bowl 2025 Point Spread: Chiefs -1.5
The Chiefs vs Eagles point spread is currently Kansas City -1.5 but with Philadelphia juiced at -115. The Super Bowl point spread opened at KC -1.5 but was bet down to -1.0 for much of the last week. On gameday, the line started shifting back towards Patrick Mahomes and the two-time defending-champion Chiefs and now basically every sportsbook has the spread at KC -1.5 again.
The importance of ATS trends is attenuated when the spread is this small – and straight-up win/loss records become a more relevant factor – but it’s worth noting that the Chiefs are just 8-10-1 against the spread this season, despite a dazzling 17-2 straight-up record.
The Eagles are 13-7 against the number in the NFL ATS trends, which is the fourth-best cover rate in the league this year. (The Broncos, Chargers, and Lions all finished 12-6.)
Chiefs vs Eagles Game Total: O/U 48.5
The game total has bounced around even more than the spread over the last two weeks. After opening at 48.5 with -110 odds both ways, it was expeditiously bet up to 49.5, even touching as high as 50.0 at some books.
But that inflated total didn’t last long.
As quickly as it went up, the game total started heading back in the other direction. For basically all of Super Bowl Sunday, the Chiefs vs Eagles game total has been sitting at 48.5, the same place it started.
But the bulk of the action appears to be on different sides of that number at different sportsbooks. For instance, BetMGM has the juice shaded to the over at -115, with -105 odds on the under, indicating it’s likely to move half-a-point if it moves at all. But at FanDuel, the game total has -115 odds on under 48.5 and -105 on the over.
The latest Chiefs vs Eagles betting splits showed 81% of total handle on over 48.5 across all books.
Super Bowl 59 Moneyline: KC -120/PHI +100
The Super Bowl 59 moneyline currently has the Chiefs sitting as -120 favorites, which amounts to a 54.55% implied win probability, and the Eagles as even-money underdogs (50% implied win probability). The odds opened with Kansas City at -125 to win its third-straight title and Philly at +105 to win its second ever Lombardi Trophy and first since 2018.
It’s not hard to craft an argument for Kansas City to win: Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid have already won three Super Bowls together, including each of the last two, and are 17-3 in the postseason since Mahomes took over as starter.
Personally, I am betting on the streak to end in my Chiefs vs Eagles prediction for reasons that I won’t repeat here. Bettors can get Philadelphia to win at the prediction site Kalshi at 47¢, which is the same as betting Philadelphia at +113 odds at a traditional sportsbook.
