Sophomore guard Trey Alexander scored 15 points. Senior guard Baylor Scheierman stuffed the stat sheet as the South Dakota State transfer tallied 11 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, and three steals.
Alexander is scoring 12.7 points a game to go with 4.9 boards. Sophomore forward Arthur Kaluma has averages of 12.4 points and 5.0 rebounds.

Texas Betting Outlook
Sophomore guard Tyrese Hunter has made a smooth transition after staying in the Big 12 by transferring to Texas from Iowa State.
Hunter is averaging a team-high 16.2 points a game and leads the conference with a 56.6 field goal percentage. He had 17 points in the rout of UTRGV.
Tyrese Hunter turned himself into a knockdown shooter in one offseason. That’s all you need to know when it comes to the type of person you’d be drafting.

Texas turned 22 UTRGV turnovers into 28 points and had a 16-2 advantage in fast-break points. For the season, the Longhorns have outscored opponents 94-12 on the break.

Texas is 22rd in the nation in shooting at 50.3%.
