There are a pair of NBA games on Tuesday night with the Celtics and Grizzlies looking to bounce back in their second round series after Game 1 losses.
Despite being on the wrong end of a blowout at the weekend, Boston is still favored by 4.5 over the Milwaukee Bucks for Game 2.
Golden State overcame foul trouble and a controversial ejection of Draymond Green to steal Game 1 on the road. They are two-point favorites for Game 2.

Odds as of May 3 at FanDuel Sportsbook
At the forefront of NBA MVP odds and NBA Finals MVP betting, Giannis Antetokounmpo put in a dominant two-way performance in Milwaukee’s series opener against Boston. The two-time MVP has the highest points line on Tuesday night at 30.5.

Portis Points and Rebounds Over
Bobby Portis returned to Milwaukee’s starting line up following Khris Middleton’s injury. Mike Budenholzer opted to play with size, which ultimately overpowered the Chicago Bulls and had a similar impact on the Celtics in Game 1. Portis has reached double figures in rebounds since becoming a starter again, and he’s averaging 15.3 points per game on 49% from the field over that period.
While Boston plays big the majority of the time, they found themselves in a tough spot against the length of the Bucks at points. Milwaukee only grabbed six more rebounds, but with Al Horford or Robert Williams often pulled away from the basket to guard Giannis Antetokounmpo, there were a lot of opportunities for Portis and Brook Lopez on the glass.

All of Portis’ 11 Game 1 boards were of the defensive variety, but he’s an effective offensive rebounder, and will be aggressive on that end in Game 2. As an offensive player, he benefits from the defense focusing in on Antetokounmpo, getting plenty of open shots from the outside. Milwaukee has also been comfortable going to Portis in the post this season, a skill he exhibited with some turnaround jumpers in Game 2.
Portis has recorded 25 or more points and rebounds in three of his four games as a starter in this postseason. He’s got into the thirties on two occasions. Take the over here.
- Pick: Bobby Portis over 24.5 points and rebounds (-115)
Green Forces Memphis Turnovers
Draymond Green had three steals in 17 Game 1 minutes prior to his ejection. The former Defensive Player of the Year has notched two or more steals in four of his last five games. He’s +122 to have over 1.5 takeaways in Game 2, which looks like a good value bet even against a Memphis team which ranked top five in turnover rate.
LMAOOOOO at Draymond putting on a show as he exits. It’s ridiculous that’s a flagrant 2 though. Absurd

Memphis has been more turnover prone in the postseason. Only five teams see more of their possessions end in a turnover in these playoffs. Nikola Jokic and Bam Adebayo were the only centers with better steal rates than Green during the regular season.
Ja Morant has been sloppy with the ball at times, driving into traffic and turning it over on occasion. Jaren Jackson Jr and Brandon Clarke combined for seven giveaways in the series opener.

Green was typically disruptive on the defensive end in his limited Game 1 appearance. Fired up after the ejection, we’re expecting an all-time Draymond performance on the defensive end in Game 2. Over 1.5 steals at plus odds is the best bet on the board.
